Thrivent Boasts Three Finalists at 2026 InvestmentNews Awards
Two Thrivent financial advisors, Thrivent Planning Platform headline finalists for prestigious industry awards on June 24.
MINNEAPOLIS [Apr. 14, 2026] – Thrivent, a Fortune 500 financial services company that puts generosity at the heart of saving and investing, has once again been recognized among the industry’s leaders by earning three finalist nominations in the 2026 InvestmentNews Awards. The honors celebrate outstanding advisors and firms shaping the future of financial advice through leadership, innovation and impact.
Thrivent financial advisors Brian Brooks and Isaac Taylor were named finalists for Investment News’ Regional Advisor of the Year in the Southwest and West regions, respectively. Thrivent was also named a finalist in the Most Innovative Use of Wealth Tech category, recognizing the company’s use of the proprietary Thrivent Planning Platform (TPP).
Learn more about Thrivent’s nominees:
- Brian Brooks — Regional Advisor of the Year (Southwest)
A Thrivent Hall of Fame* member with more than 26 years of experience, Brian leads Vista Point Wealth Advisors in Scottsdale, Ariz., where his team generated a 44% increase in new money in 2025. Brian’s passion for charitable giving has made a profound impact on the community while empowering his clients to give back to the causes that inspire them. - Isaac Taylor — Regional Advisor of the Year (West)
Previously an underwater welder, Isaac’s unique and inspiring journey represents a new wave of financial advisors who took a less conventional path. At The Huntington Group in Arcadia, Calif., he generated 65% year-over-year revenue growth in 2025 and was inducted into Thrivent’s VIP Hall of Honor** for his longstanding commitment to generosity. - Thrivent Planning Platform — Most Innovative Use of Wealth Tech
Thrivent Planning Platform (TPP) is designed to help advisors see a client’s full financial picture in a single, integrated digital experience. Thrivent has evolved TPP into a high-impact digital platform that improves advisor productivity while helping clients better understand their financial picture and act with confidence.
This year’s recognition builds on Thrivent’s strong showing at the 2025 InvestmentNews Awards, when the firm earned two finalist nominations for individual advisors and CEO Terry Rasmussen was named CEO of the Year. That momentum reflects Thrivent’s continued commitment to empowering advisors, advancing innovation and helping clients build financial clarity and confidence.
As an industry leader in giving back to communities nationwide and inspiring clients to do the same, Thrivent will also be presenting The Thrivent Award for Excellence in Philanthropy and Community Service at the ceremony. In 2025, Thrivent and its clients provided 17.2 million volunteer hours and raised more than $464 million to support local generosity efforts.
The 2026 InvestmentNews Award winners will be announced on June 24 at a ceremony in New York City.

Nominations for Most Innovative Use of Wealth Tech and Regional Advisor of the Year were open from December 1, 2025 to February 27, 2026, with no fee to enter.
The Most Innovative Use of Wealth Tech had 7 finalists and was based on an organization’s use of wealth technology and digital platform/software, such as CRM, digital marketing, mobile technology, electronic document management, connectivity platforms, and collaboration tools.
The Regional Advisor of the Year awards were determined by the InvestmentNews Awards team through a two-step process: initial research and selection of excellence awardees, followed by additional submissions reviewed by a panel of industry judges. Winners were chosen using a points-based system, based on criteria such as business development, investment knowledge, client service, education, community involvement, and compliance. There were eight finalists in both the Southwest Region and West Region.
